Paula Flowerday graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. Before attending law school, Paula received a B.A. in History from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.

After receiving her Texas law license, Paula chose to serve the people of Texas by providing legal services to governmental entities. Paula worked for the Texas Racing Commission for over 15 years, serving not only as the agency’s first General Counsel, but also its Executive Director. During her 30+ year legal career, Paula also provided legal services to the Texas Legislative Council, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Denton County Probate Court.

Paula is a trained mediator and volunteers as a mediator for the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Paula Flowerday resides near Pilot Point with her husband Scott and their two Labradors. A life-long Presbyterian, Paula and Scott currently attend Trinity Presbyterian Church in Denton, Texas. A former Board member and Board President of HOPE, Inc., Paula supports charities that stress peacemaking and social justice. The Flowerday Firm is dedicated to providing affordable and high quality legal services to individuals and families. Paula Flowerday is committed to helping people who are facing a crisis, such as the loss of a loved one or the incapacity of a family member. Paula believes in finding the “win-win” for her clients and will advocate for creative solutions to difficult problems.
